Look at about :45. It's a real quick clip, but that's what I try to do for a round on it. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjF2IHw0EyE[/ame]
Have somebody stand behind it and lightly tap it. Using a slip bag by yourself has always seemed worthless to me.
use the double end bag instead. it focuses on head movement with the added bonus of throwing punches at different angles when worked right. and not to mention the double end bag is reactionary. However, a young Tyson was KING at the slip bag.
My trainer would have me practice throwing punches as the bag was coming in. As the bag approaches you, throw a jab (bringing your head to the right of the bag), and follow it with a cross as the bag is coming back at you (moving your head to the left). This simulates counterpunching and helps you practice punching and moving your hnead out of the center simultaneously. Other than that, I just like to add a round of shadowboxing using the maize ball.
