Yep, theres this rumour going around that all Haye has to do is land a right hand.

Utter rubbish, even IF Wlad does get put down he will be back up and close up shop until his head is clear. David cant KO Wlad with one shot, he couldnt KO Audley with 5!

    Wlads defence is now phenomenal.

In response to the thread starter I think he Haye will go with the Valuev option.

Lets see how david reacts when he tastes the jab.

No way can Haye afford to box like he did against Valuev, it is unlikely to work and even if he did manage to box well and take it the full 12 he is not getting the decision if the fight is in Germany.

Haye seems to believe Wlad is tailor-made for him so I suspect he'll try to counter Wlad with wild flurries in the first 2-3 rounds and see what effect he can reach with that.

If Wlad keeps on coming and lands a couple big hands himself we'll see what Haye is made of.

move around, make wlad hit and miss and counter this.

get the distance/range down and make wlad stretch to hit him,paw wlads jab and frusrate him, make wlad throw and miss, step under, slip the side hit the right hands from the angles.

all haye needs to do is stop the jab,use footwork and head movement with paws and feints, and he will defeat wlad as soon as he lands.

rushing for the KO is stupid, leaves himself open to be KO

Haye has been unable to completely neutralize mediocre fighters like Mormeck, Fragomeni, Barret or Ruiz. But he will outmaneuver Wlad and make him miss systematically, without Wlad landing a single punch?

    That's quite a rich theory.

lol There isn't a great deal he can do. Wlad seems much improved from the Sanders days and David has neither the chin, stamina or strength to swarm effectively.

He will probably try to pick his moments and flurry and hope he clips him.

Haye will look embarrassingly scared and inactive with his full attention already on the paycheck and tropic islands. All he will hope for is to see the end of the fight on his feet the likelihood of which I guesstimate as 50/50. Wlad wins either way - via UD of KO/TKO.

This. Really not a fight that needs much analysis. We all know how each guy is going to fight, and there are only two logical outcomes: Haye's strategy works and he wins on points, or Wlad stops him.

I agree. Doesn't mean Haye is completely without any chance. He just has to land a number of good combos and pick his shots well. Also he can't afford to run out of gas, that would seal his fate. I give Haye a 30% chance to win the fight, via stoppage obviously.

Haye on points? Explain please. I can't see that happen!? Only if he drops Wlad a number of times and Wlad makes it over the rounds.

If Haye wins then IMO it'd be via stoppage.

With Wlad's mentality and the fact that David can put shots togeather i wouldn't rule it out. I would probably give him the same chances, he would need luck on his side as he is lacking tools and Wlad can be more passive with his style and attributes.

Think Haye will be looking for the big shot as I can't see Haye getting a decision. Haye can end the fight with one punch and so can Wlad, their chins aren't the best in the world and they both have power.

It will be more like Valuev than Enzo but he may have to show more aggression as the rounds go by.Wlad is a far better fighter than Valuev and will want to impose himself as the guy clearly winning the rounds. In order to have any chance of winning it Haye will have to throw some big shots and back Wlad up.
I still think Wlad will be too big and too strong and that Haye will be stopped.
