I like him but Haye is going to get KTFO.

 Valuev has **** power, speed and skill but Haye still danced around him for 36 minutes throwing single shots, it was embarassing. If that is the best gameplan he could come up with against the most 1 dimensional plodder in history then he is truly doomed against Wlad.

You have little idea ! ..... why would he want to have a monster of a man like Valuev who weighed over 100 lbs more on the night which is astonishing in its own right ... and get him leaning all over Haye and wearing him down over 12 rounds... Haye fought the perfect fight to beat Valuev . Haye knew his strengths and made valuev look stupid all night !

Chagaev and Holyfield beat Valuev far more clearly than Haye did, and they didn't limit themselves to 1 punch a minute :good

I thought this was a good post until I read the bit I highlighted. Dear oh dear...

Haye is primed for making mistakes - schoolboy mistakes - that shouldn't be happening at the world level, he has thought no one with the ability to capitalize on those flaws, Haye has some bad habits in his fight game. Iif you've watched his fights at HW carefully, it's not hard to point out.

Haye often lunges in with his punches and becomes off-balance. He has a leaky defense, and likes to swing wide punches - Haye is open for Wladimar biggest weapon in his arsenal - the straight right. Haye will apparently be dodging and slipping Wladimar jab, well he can't do that all night.

Wladimar isn't stupid, and is the man with a higher IQ. He knows Haye is going to come out and try to unsettle him, but I see Wladimar weathering the storm.

Haye enters Klitschko territory after the 6'th round. The longer this fight goes on, the slimmer the chances get for Haye. I fully expect for Haye to come out trying to land some vicious punches but if he doesn't respect Wladimar enough, then it could be 'lights out' for him, and early.

Tut, I think somebody is confusing boxing with WWF...

If The Rock can go toe to toe with the big lump there then what excuse does Haye have for not doing the same against Valuev :patsch

Its nothing to do with his power or movement, Haye took his only real advantage away from him and although it was no Gatti/Ward it was a solid fight for a boxing fan to watch.

Haye has been fighting guys who have a million and one chance of beating him. There is a world of difference between Wlad and slow methodical HW's like Barrett, Valuev, Harrison, those type of guys are tailor made for Haye to move around and use his speed.

As much as folk may dislike Haye and Booth the pair of them are switched on when it comes to boxing tactics... Booth especially hes a smart cookie and they will have a gameplan to move in behind the jab all day and pick off Wlad...

Go watch both fights and then tell me who you think put on a better performance.

By the way - http://boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Fight:1180141 & Valuev's win against Holyfield was a shocking, shocking decision

Haye gambled with his tactics against Valuev and whilst looking like a clear winner, was probably fortunate to get the nod over a King/Sauerland fighter on their own turf in a close-ish fight.

If he tries that sort of stuff with Wlad he's gonna be brutalised..... Wlad's quicker, more athletic, harder to hit and more powerful.

I just don't see how David wins this fight, at all.

Ive watched them and the record books show Valuev won both fights ... i agree Holyfield did seem a robbery .

Boxings very much a sport of opinions when the scorecards are close ... ive seen a fair few robberies but then again thats just my opinion ...

'Haye is open for Wladimar biggest weapon in his arsenal - the straight right'

When Wladamir throws the above shot he only ever does at distance simply because he's wide open and vunerable to fast angled shots!

David is tailor made for him, because he has the tools to capatilise on the mistakes he does make.

Everyone slates Haye and his style and that he makes mistakes, but he purely fights with speed, agility and reflex and not like a damn robot!

And weathering the storm,Wladamir has never weathered any storm, once he's hurt he's been finished, you seriously think Haye will let him off the hook!
