His reflexes aren't as great as people make out, but saying that...he rolls shots quite well. Whether he can do that against Wlad is another story.

Haye in his trademark "low" crouched position. This works well vs. 6"0 guys. He will have trouble finding range vs. Wlad in this stance.

 

Even Ruiz got to Haye with a Jab. That being said this fight will answer a lot of questions about both fighters. Biggest Heavyweight fight in years..

 

What Wlad fans should be worried about, is Wlad's been floored by every fast, banger, he's ever faced

Wlad's never faced a puncher as fast or as skilled as Haye.

Great point wlad has not seen speed and power like this since he fought sanders and we know what happend there. I think Haye is faster than Sanders but I don't think Haye can take many shots from wlad either. Haye's best chance is to go right after Wlad and try to get him out early.

 

It's a mistake to focus on what Wlad will do to Haye, and what Haye needs to do to overcome it.

 

I see it a 90/10 in Wlad favor. If this will go 12 rounds, it will be a shutout for Wlad, just like Sultan Ibragimov match. Given that Haye has a decent punching power, he has about 10% to pull a Rahman and clock Wlad on the chin, but I have a feeling a lot of fan in UK will be upset after this match.

^ If this version would have been facing Haye, then yes, he could possibly get tagged and react he way he did with mr Golfer there. The Emanuel Steward version will just do the octopus hug and recover. If you watch the Sanders replay, the dumb-ass went after Sanders after he got tagged, something he definitively did better in the Peter I match.
