    According to Rick Reeno, Alvarez-Hatton had 1.4 million viewers, which is the high rating for a Boxing After Dark telecast since James Kirkland fought Joel Julio in 2009.

    The Alvarez-Hatton ratings came from The Scene and Dan Rafael's Twitter. The Montiel-Donaire ratings came from a John Chavez article on The Boxing Truth's web site.

    well it is not hard to believe since Canelo is loved by just about every single Mexican in Mexico and in the United States. That's alot of fans. Add all the other fans who like his crowd pleasing style and you have urself millions of followers.

    Great job Canelo. Only 20 and already drawing in hordes of people.

    Good for boxing.. I actually went to work on Monday and people were talking about how good the fight was... black guys, white and Mexicans.... I was surprised the only people here they talk about is pac and May.
