Did you see him go apesh*t with Audley?

I cant see that being too effective so I would say stick to the boxing. Might be worth a bash though.

 

I really truly honestly believe that David Haye should never go ape**** on anyone. He hasn't really paid the price for it but he's terrible at finishing fights. What he should do is take his time but he never does. He gets his opponent hurt then totally spazzes out and starts with his rabbit punches. He did it with Ruiz, Barrett, Maccarinelli all without reason. He would've got Barrett and Ruiz out there much earlier if he'd not been such a ****ing chump.

 

He aint got the cardio for it with all that muscle mass

 

Yea but he also knew Audley's only chance was to caught him with something crazy. He knew he could take Audley whenever he pleased he just waited and felt him out and at the right moment he took him out. But against Wlad I think he knows Wlad can KO him or outbox him and he has to win by KO.

So I think his best chance is to blitz Wlad and hope to catch him with something but dont go to crazy if you dont catch him then just box him and hope for a counter shot.

He doesnt have to worry about Wlad catching him with anything because if he attacks Wlad will just try and grab and not get hit.

 

Sounds like a good way to lose.

 

...Good point. Klitschko's aren't counter punchers, Wlad least of all.

 

To me that's about the only way to go for him.
Probably won't work, but much better as looking for a big counter shot or trying to box with Wlad.

I thought he made a pretty poor effort of taking out Audley, he wont get away with that against Wlad.

I think Hayes a better boxer than he is a finisher.

 

It could work but I'm going to that's not his best option. It's possible he could send Wlad into panic mode but Haye also isn't a pressure fighter and would be out of his comfort zone not to mention with that type of seek-and-destroy strategy you usually got to pay a price coming in and Haye's chin is questionable.

big slow robotic wlad, who only throws right hands when he's 100% sure he can land without being hit back. haye has the speed, movement and power to outbox wlad.

Haye needs to just keep that ape**** level if he finds he's losing the fight and getting ground down and took to school with Wlads reach / jab / straight rights... The worst thing he can do is gas before he makes that his plan B - but imho its too risky doin that in the real early rounds. But of course its always gonna give him a shot
