That was as close to being perfectly timed and placed as a punch gets, I reckon. A flush counter, and Chop Chop got his full weight behind it too, due to the weight shifting. No idea how Floyd was able to stay standing.

This and the Mosley shot are the hardest shot Mayweathers ever taken in a 40 fight career.

Mayweather is without a doubt of of the best pure boxers of all time mixing
Offence/Defence. People can call him a ducker or what ever they want, and i agree hes missed some big oppertunitys to really take himself higher in the ATG list. But the man is incredible and a pleasure to watch, a genius.

He got his weight behind it, but didn't get it turned over. The wrist gave which took some of the impact out of it. And Corley was never a really heavy puncher. But it was a good shot and lesser guys may have give in to it.

Floyd is on record somewhere (i forget the source) as saying that this is the hardest shot he has taken, even harder then the one Shane landed in the 2nd! Zab hit him with a couple of solid shots as well, but Mayweather took them quite well! I think his chin would stand up to most single shots but he is far too elusive to be caught by combinations, hence my reasoning for thinking he would box his way to a fairly comfortable decison over Pacquiao! Not that that fight is ever gonna happen lol!!

He was definatly more panicked by Mosley's shot and tbh i thought Shane might have followed up a bit better than he did.

Yep great shot but the Mosley shot was better...I still can't believe he did'nt go down after that shot...Mayweather is a ***** for sure but surely not a glass chin!

lol, he defo deserves stick for not fighting Pacquiao but i'm not sure he is a *****! 5 weight world champion, never won a vacant title and his resume is stronger than he is given credit for! If and when he fights Pacquiao, which is what we all want, i still feel he will box his way to a comfortable win! If he stands in front of Manny Pacquiao like he stood in front of a shot Mosley then its lights out for Mayweather!

Too true Anima, Amir Khan pre Roach would have been wiped out by those shots Maidana landed in the 10th, first thing Roach did was take weight off Khan's upper body and build his legs up! Big difference now bruh!!

CHOP CHOP...those were the days. Ole Corley gave a decent few rounds.
