YOu win with offense not defense? Not if your offense is drastically inferior to another fighters defense. Not too mention Pernell Whitkaer was a great offensive fighter who was bouncing blows off Chavez head all night.

PAcquiao cant cut off the ring like Chavez can and thats when he gets beat. If Cotto was frustrating him off the back foot, I cant even imagine what Pea would do to manny.
If you say so. But according to the way Pac looks when he fights a elite boxer I say no.

    People here are overestimating Pea.

How many quality southpaws did he face ?
    Nazario ? Anthony Jones ? Ramirez ?

Pac would be the most difficult oponnent Pea would have faced, and that includes Trinidad.

Manny has something more than Hoya ( or Chavez for that matter): footspeed and balance.
Add to this southpaw angles; then blinding hand speed, precision and timing and you know why Cotto and Margo were practically finished after 4 rds.

Hatton was annihilated with timing and precision, not so much by brute force.

Pea in his prime was given all he could handle by a 32 year old Azumah Nelson; he tasted the canvas vs Mayweather and Pendleton gave him fits. Later on Mc Girt pushed him hard with only one good arm.

I don't think Pac would steamroll him, but in a all southpaw matchup between two supremely talented lefties, no one can really confidently predict an outcome.

Pea might get a disputed decision, or he could get caught cold and backpedal for the remainder.

I think Sweet Pea would make Pac miss a LOOTTTTT..

Pac however lands the punch that Sweet Pea cannot defend and alas...its over.

the people demand that Pac fights a slick fighter!!!

Amazing how some people still look at Pac as a mindless brawler. Pac has a game plan in every fight and executes it well.

Wait for PBF to find his cojones, climb in the ring with Pac and get stretched.
Then we'll know who the real clown is. :hey
