    Margarito was at least a bigger man and a bit of a challenge. I'm pretty sure Matthew Hatton would have been beaten by 95% of the top 20 alone...at Welterweight. Weak title for Alvarez.

    If you can't fight somebody who weighs in at 154lbs don't fight for a JMW title.

    Pacquiao is a Legend and Alvarez is a very good green fighter and when he improves,hes most likely going to give hell to any 154 pound fighter.

    tell that to the sanctioning bodies. 148-154=jmw. if you want it at just 154, go to Libya and join the protest, maybe the Ghadaffi will hear you and launch a jihad on WBC.

    its a legit poll.

    Pacquiao fighting for a vacant title at a catchweight or alvarez pummeling 147 pounder Matthew Hatton for a WBC belt that was sanctioned at the last moment?

    the WBC should be shot for having 'champions' under those conditions. but nobody cares right? Its all about legacy.

    I'd put *** next to these titles.

    the belt was given to him for fighting in that division. its not like he had to beat someone who owned the belt. It was up in the air.
