It's great to see how much of an under dog Haye is, therefore when he KO's this sister there will be NO excuses
Hayes speed and more importantly reflexes make it 50/50 for me. Wlads reach and rangeyness will give anyone trouble but Hayes power, speed and reflexes could be the antidote to that ever prevalent jab. People keep going on about Hayes defence, but other than the Ruiz fight where he had no sparring leading up to the fight when has Haye ever been tagged regularly? Haye has been quite elusive over the years against fighters faster than Klitschko
Of course saying Haye hasn't got a chance is laughable Just watch: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrnjuQY9rek[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3H1_hkRYAk[/ame] Those were two tall upright boxers who rely on straight punches. Haye got them out of there by firing his one-two first.
This is the approach I take with this fight, too. However, I give Haye much higher chances: 50/50 to begin with, where both fighters are fresh. 40/60 if Haye hasn't shown any signs of troubling Wladimir by round 6. 30/70 if it stays like this by round 10. This will be a brilliant thread to bump if Haye wins.
You mean like when he went to Mormeck's back yard and took his titles, or when he went to SNV's and did the same? As for all the cheering for the other guy, the audience could be 10% Brits and they will still outcheer the home fans, and it WILL be far more than 10%.
Yup, but it'll work much better if Haye wins. Too many people in this thread are giving Haye ridiculously low chances.
Good move. I've grown to resent Haye in the last 2 years, and I've been vocal in my criticism of him on this forum....but I still have to acknowledge the fact that he's an extremely dangerous operator in today's HW division. If I was a Wladimir fan, I wouldn't write off Haye's chances that easily.
