Yes very true i saw an interview when he had dropped down to around 160 and talked about how hard he was training and how much weight he dropped like if it had been a decent amount of weight.

I actually think Morales does well for a few rounds with Maidana but unfortunately, i think he gets in a shootout at some point and thats when Maidana takes over... Always been the Bigger Barrera guy but how can anyone not be a Morales fan too. This is probably gonna be one of those cases where the classier and greater fighter loses to the younger and naturally stronger man.

Barrera fought to his strengths and Morales didn't.Barrera was the much sharper,quicker and heavier puncher of the two at close range.Morales almost always came out of those vicious exchanges the more damaged of the two.Didn't matter how many punches Morales threw or landed in Barrera's direction,because Barrera's punches were more damaging and accurate.

The greatest success that Morales had over Barrera throughout that trilogy was the first half of the rematch.He did an excellent job at pressing the fight,controlling the distance,and initiating the attack in a more conservative manner than the first time,and I had Morales sweeping atleast six of the first seven rounds.
