    But it was SCORED 8-4.

    (For the record, I think Hopkins only won 2 rounds, 3 at most, mainly because Jones cruised in the knowledge that he had it in the bag.)

    Whitacker vs. McGirt I... one of the judges had Pernell up by 6 points.

    Whitacker vs. McGirt II... one of the judges had Pernell up by 7 points.

    i remember the micky ward getting a wide decision over emanuel burton in the ring magazine fight of the year. the fight was very close with the outcome very much in doubt.

    larios-mccullough was another fight that i thought was too far on the score cards.

    one judge scored the callazo-berto fight very wide for berto in another very close fight.

    The first fight was close, but clear for Whitaker (probably closer than need be due to Whitaker's conduct in the last couple of rounds). The rematch was completely one-sided after about the 5th round.

    Bloke's career is full of robberies. In the first Courtney Burton fight, some judge had it 99-90 despite Augustus controlling most of the fight so chalk this fight up to this list. :roll:
