I thought the same thing about his stamina after the Purrity and Brewster losses. He was also breathing heavily against TOS. Today however I think he's much improved in that department.

Recently he was chasing Chambers around the ring, firing dozens of power shots next to something like 50-60 jabs per round. Every round, for 12 rounds! Yes Steward had to yell at him to get him go in for the kill, but this wasn't a stamina issue at all.

One of Wlad's recent sparring partners (forgot the name, I think he was British. Not Tyson Fury) said how Wlad's camp and preparation was the most diligent and professional he's ever seen. Daily schedule, diet, sparring, conditioning. Everything is optimized. I don't think the level of sophistication in his camps 10 years ago was anywhere close to this.

I'd agree with "gun shy" as a point for criticism, but stamina? No, not anymore. They worked on that and fixed it.

Michael Sprott. Yes Wlads conditioning has improved steadlily under Steward. From what I've read Manny has him sparring a lot more than he used to.
