Im looking forward to it more than any other fight including wlad/haye. These are 2 fighters that absolutely hate each other perhaps the first fight since bad blood. A win for Cotto takes away so many past ghosts and a win for either could set up a big fight against Martinez. Not to mention that the first fight was incredible it would be my #1 fight for the decade if it didn't have so much controversy. 2011 has already surpassed 2010 in good matches being made imo.

honestly, I would like to see them fight on the same card against other top10 opponents first. Re-establish themselves. Cotto is still rebuilding from the Pacquiao and Margo losses and Margarito needs to get the wheel turning as well.

I say Cotto vs Cintron, Margarito vs Wolak...

    sounds pretty good right?

i dont think margarito has a lot of hate for cotto, he knows deep down he cheated. cotto probably does though

martinez would probably knock out cotto in the mid rounds after being in control

you are right about some of the good matches being made, although 2010 was one of the shittest years in a long time imo

If there is a fight I want to see this year is Cotto-Margo II. I've been waiting for this fight since 2008.

I know a lot of people think this is a bad match-up for Cotto regardless of what may have happened in the first, and it is, but I still think he can carry out a strategy under Steward that will see him edge out the fight or better.

That would be a great fight watching Cotto outbox Margarito while trying to avoid a flush shot to his chin. Kind of like Khan-Maidana, nervous excitement wondering if the boxer can make the final bell for a UD or get KTFO with power punches.

I would not be surprised if Margarito stopped Cotto again. I want to see the rematch.

Also with the fact that this card is going to be in the summer and huge fights usually arent. I can see that the card is likely to be stacked if its PPV. This card will be an oasis in the desert for boxing fans this summer.

    Cotto/Margo II
    Clottey/Martiosyan
    Rigondeaux/Concepcion
    Henry vs. TBA
    Benavidez vs. TBA
