Is he not a case of a boxer who went from being ordinary to extrordinary? He went from beating mediocre fighters to knocking out everyone in his path as of recently. Could it be that the presssure to fight him isnt on Floyd therefore no reason to try and discredit him and tarnish his accomplishments? Truth be told, Martinez is waay to big for both Floyd and Pac.

    True dat.

Man goes from getting stopped by Margarito, to beating the **** out of the then middleweight king in Pavlik, and KTFO'ing the most dangerous fighter, Paul Williams.

Nope. He was always extra ordinary.
He just wasnt known. As soon as i saw him i saw he was special. Thats why i picked him to beat Cintron and PW. I didnt think he would beat Pavlik though.

As far as people bringing up the Margarito loss. That was in 2000 dude. He got beat by a tough young pressure fighter in Margarito. He obviously went back to the drawing board and improved himself.

Trust me, If Martinez was a WW, Floyd would have found a way to discredit everything he has done lately.

Truth of the matter is, Martinez has a bunch of nobody's on his resume, then as of the past 2yrs, he completely thrashed top comp! By Floyd's standards he has all the makings of a PED user! LOL

Wait till more and more people start ranking Sergio ahead of Mayweather on the pound for pound rankings and start talking about a possible fight between them and you will see the usual diarrhea coming out of the mentally challenged trio of Jr,Sr and Rog's mouth.

Hasn't Martinez been around 145-160 his whole career? :huh

And since like 03 he's KO'd/TKO'd at least half if not more of his competition... :huh

Yes but it wasnt until 09 that he started fighting notable names. Prior to that, he fought a bunch of nobody's overseas.

I like Martinez and am a huge fan. He's a throwback fighter and those are rare nowaday's. Im just saying that if he had Floyd in his sights and Floyd was being pressured to fight him, Floyd would have went on a huge smear campaign to try and discredit Martinez's accomplishments!

Wasn't his whole thing with Pac his jump in weights and gettin KTFO at lower weights not KOing his comp?

Martinez hasn't jumped in weight and said he's too small to continue to go up. Martinez hasn't had a big increase in KO's... Martinez wasn't gettin KTFO and he had no amateur background either... How do you honestly compare the two situations?

Floyd has stated the following about Pac:

-He went from being ordinary to extrodinary
    -He was KO'd before
-He got outboxed by Erik Morales
-He got beat by Marquez 2x
-How did Pac go from being ordinary to extrodinary
    -Philipines makes the best PED's

The weight jump excuses came from Floyd Sr and Roger. Not Floyd Jr.

his head hasn't doubled in size as pac's has, & he hasn't made bogus statements to try to avoid drug testing at any cost...............pbf prob wouldn't suggest he's juicing w/o filling this criteria
