Of course Williams should fight Martinez, and Martinez should give him a rematch no different than Paul gave him one. I mean, Martinez landed a big shot that Paul didn't see, and KO'd him but Williams dropped Martinez in the first fight and beat him so I don't see how it's such a "done deal". I'm not sure now is the time, but I think it's worthy of a Trilogy and I think Williams would beat him, but that's just me.
Martinez also dropped Williams in their first fight, and quite frankly, Sergio's knockdown was alot better. Sergio getting knocked down had more to do with him being off balance, Sergio actually tagged him harder and put him on his ass. And Sergio won that fight, i dont care what those judges said. :deal
In the second fight up until his brain was knocked out of his ear he was winning imo. He was doing good, typical p dub fight just was kaught with an amazingly timed kounter. The first fight was great every round kould have really went either way. To say he lost and it isnt debatable is ignorant. Just like saying p dub won an there is no argument for martinez is ignorant. I had it 8-4 for williams but it really was so klose it kould have gone either way. Let paul build some konfidence with a couple good wins then he should fight him again
No, Paul has been fighting crazy all his life. I don't see how he can make any major changes to his style in less than a year. Being knocked out by someone like that hurts your confidence when you fight them again. Hard for part 3 to be a good fight.
Why? PW never gave Quintana the 3rd fight even though he kept asking for it. I actually would like to see PW playing dead again though so make it happen!!
Williams hardly got dominated the first fight, and in the second, Sergio hit him with a one shot moneymaker. It's not as if Sergio had beaten him to a pulp for six rds and then disposed of him. I like Sergio a lot. But let's not get out of control here.
What!?!? You had the first fight 8-4 for PW?? You also had him winning those first 5 minutes of the second fight?? Where you not watching the fight and just listening to the HBO commentary? Cause that would make you believe thats the way it is but come on. HBO always does that with their fighters. Martinez was landing that same "one-time" counter over and over in both rounds. He just finally loaded up on it when he saw he couldnt miss with it. Also 8-4 rounds is not close at all....
he was getting caught with that same timed left in the first fight , it was only a matter of time before Williams jaw was shattered williams would need to completely change his whole style in the 3rd fight or he's getting put to sleep again, can't see a fighter at his stage changing his whole game
LOl I Guess On ESB A Flash Knockout Counts As Getting Dominated.lol Especially When Paul Already Beat This Dude.lol Sergio Closed His Eyes And Threw That Punch.lol If It Wouldn't Have Landed He Would Have Lost The Same As The First Fight. If Sergio Doesn't Land A Haymaker He Loses 10 Out Of 10 Times Against Paul. Of Corse His Fans Are Gonna Ride The Hype Train And Say Theres No Point Because They No 3rd Fight Paul Takes Away That Punch And Walks Martinez Down Like The First Fight!
