What with Hatton losing in both his big fights A haye loss could be devestating imo the general public will stop buying into our guys wont they? It could be even worse if froch gets decent exposure for the S6 final and loses too one of our boys needs to pull it out, khan beating tim would help too, but tbh i can easily visualise all 3 losing
Sadly I think Haye will lose and recieve a lot of flack, Froch will lose in the final (v Ward) with dignity which won't damage his rep, but our big hope is Khan. I really think he can go on to dominate and be a top p4p er for the next 10 years or so. So all is not lost. I have high hopes for Degale.
If he does lose, which I don't think he will, the tabloids will bury him. "he has only ever fought bums", "couldn't step up to the big leagues", "he has only ever beaten Harrison" that type of ****. The only Brit of the current crop of prospects I can see making an impact on a global scale is Frankie Gavin, and thats only if he can find a solution to the cuts he seems to get every fight.
This year we have at least 4 fighters challenging for the lineal/ring title, wouldn't shock me is Macklin got a shot at Martinez either. Its more likley that Haye, Froch, Khan, Burns lose than all 4 win. I think it depends how he loses. If Wlad wins it will almost certainly be a boring fight.
