agreed in part, however, my point was not the money as you rightly say, money has always played a huge part in the fight game, my point is, Haye has said he will retire at the end of this year....why? its not like hes had a tough career, theres plenty of options to completely solidify a boxing legacy....take on Vitali? Unify the division? ..take on some of the young and more dangerous guns.....hungry to fight and win? show that he really is worthy of the accolades of an ALG. Nobody can knock Lewis for retiring when he did....and he avenged all his losses too....was Lewis an ATG? i say yes due to the opponents around in that timescale, against some of the yesteryear greats? who knows, its a pointless conversation. Haye is looking for 1 mega payday and i dont really believe he gives a **** about the result coz either way, from this fight, he'll make a bucket load of cash and that in my mind is what this fight is all about for him. IMO. In some ways i might be a little puritanical but id rather watch other real boxers and fighters who love the fight game for the fight itself.....the fame and money is only a by product. Think iv said enuff now.
