    1) Lee/Mcewan - Best fight of night...thats including the Showtime PPV. Those those two were going at it big time. McEwan could get somewhere in boxing..just needs to work on his cardio.

    2) Lee kind of reminds me of Hearns a little...kind of creppy.

    3) Dzi - OK. So this is my first fight seeing this guy. Alot of people on ESB said he was good and had a killer jab. I didn't see **** in him at all till round 6. After round 6 Dzi started getting off first and actually putting combinations together. He looked good. I like him.

But I must ask this was this Dzi's off night or did Martinez really nulll his boxing? I meant he Dzi of round 7 and beyond looked like world class. He was throwing nice crisp punches and landing jabs followed by nice combos. Round 1-6..wtf happened?

    4) Martinez has officially become a puncher. Yeah Dzi is a JR MW, but it doesn't matter. This guy has become a filled out middleweight and his power has increased. And Idk about you all but Martinez looks faster as well.

    5) I don't care what any of you say Martinez is the man in boxing right now. This guy is starting to look unstoppable.

    6) I want to bang Mcewan wife.

I think the speed of Martinez coupled with the pop on his punches really bothered Dzin in the early going. Dzin, despite having an excellent jab, found his target quite elusive in the early going, and I think he became a little gun-shy if you will as a result of the first knockdown. Dzin may have thought- ****, I have to be very careful with this guy or I'll be out in no time. Hence, he reverted to a conservative jab, straight left type assault.

And, with no real inside game to speak of much less the capacity to close the distance on Sergio without getting hammered, Dzin virtually had no blueprint for victory.

    2)uh...no.
3)he had a good jab going early, but had to take some chances b/c he was losing.
    4)agreed.
5)let's not get carried away. MW is kinda thin right now.

I fell in love with him after the first Williams fight and after satruday night I believe he beats everyone from 154 to 160.

I watched the Martinez fight for the first time last night, and going off the comments I'd been reading on ESB since Saturday, I was expecting some sort of extraordinary Martinez performance.

But that's not what I saw. Instead, he just did what I thought he was going to do - beat an overmatched opponent like he was supposed to do. I was under the impression he dominated from start to finish. But instead, I see:

    - Martinez starts great, out-jabbing the jabber.
    - Martinez slows down a bit, but still out-working his man.
    - Martinez begins taking alot of shots. SD tags him a lot.
    - Martinez pulls a pretty awesome stoppage out of the bag.

Obviously there were a few knockdowns involved.

He did. He won like every rounnd..thats dominating.

Martinez always takes rounds off. Its just what he does. Did against Pavlik, Williams and now Dzi.

It was a dominating performance, but not the dominating performance everyone was making out. I mean, after reading threads of how he should now overtake Pacquiao in P4P rankings, I was thinking "Damn, it must have been one hell of a show".

As for him taking rounds off against Pavlik, I don't believe he did. In the middle rounds, it was Pavlik who actually made some adjustments and began taking control of the fight. But that nasty gash he suffered, shifted the momentum entirely in Sergio's favour.

But I'm not knocking him. Sergio is one of my favourite fighters, and I will always support him in his fights (unless it's against Pac). His performance the other day was a very impressive one, but it wasn't a 'I've just knocked Pac off the top spot' one. At best, he sits at number two because of Floyd's inactivity.

First few rds Dzinziruk was rusty I think.I mean that was only his third fight since November 2008 and he didnt fight at all during 2009 and only once in 2010.Hopefully hes back soon against a rated 154lber and is back to his best.
