I like Solis, he seems like a nice guy. He does seem a kid, but then again he does wear a Spongebob chain and looney toon shirts. I just think thats his personality, but I dont think it has anything to do with his temperament in the ring.

Some boxers don't do the staredown not because they are intimidated but they know the other boxer is trying to **** with them psychologically. I know that in MMA Fedor never looks at his opponents.

Odlanier doesnt play the stare game, he knows what's what and a stare won't do much when it comes to actually fighting in the ring.

Odlanier seems like a nice enough fellah, I don't think I've seen him play those games in any of his fights.

I don't think it means he was petrified. But I think Vitali was trying to be funny by dipping down to make eye contact. I think even Solis took it this way. None of Vitali's opponents dislike him. They want to beat him in a sporting event, not for any personal reasons. That can work in your favor a tiny amount I guess, removing the hate factor, but it's not the reason he wins. He wins because of how hard he prepares and has studied boxing. Someday he will lose because he will get old. Or he will retire. Either way, he has been a very good fighter.
