I dunno, I haven't seen him fight in too long to really say that he's the best as it stands right now today. I'd say Pacman. If Floyd hasn't lost anything and can pull it out against top comp. right now, then yeah, but I can't reward inactivity.
I don't know about clear as day, but Pac has a very good case for himself when judging on pure talent.
i don't see why anyone would say that. Talent is something you just have. your natural abilities. Floyds biggest gifts are his athleticism, defense, and Boxing IQ. thats something you earn through hardwork. he didn't just wake up one morning doing the shoulder roll he acquired that skill. i'd say the most talented fighter would be the likes of Magarito, Andrade, and Mayorga, gus like that. guys who made it to be championship level fighters with no skills whatsoever, those guys made it there by there god given abilities. which is the definition of the word. so nah i disagree.
leave that glass jawed fraud out of the discussion!! :hat [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3q0jV3FVcyA[/ame]
Dibella and Martinez. Two guys that have interest in saying that as they want Martinez to fight Floyd and Dibella wants Berto to face Floyd. 75% of everyone else in boxing from Robert Garcia to George Foreman agree Manny is #1
Its the million dollar question? Everyone has an opinion on who would win between floyd and manny but no one really knows. Its a mega fight, a 50-50 type fight!
Margarito? The guy made his mark by sucking weight to pick on smaller fighters with his 5'11 160 pd frame. On top of that decided he needed to cheat. Mayweather made his career moving up in weight fighting bigger stronger more powerful fighters then himself while not even weighing that much, and not having big KO power himself. In comparison Margarito would need to move up to 154, 160 and 168 and at least win a belt in each to compare. Maybe Mayweather should have stayed at 140 and beat everyone up there to prove how tough he is.
Also not anyone can have hand speed, and reflexes or athleticism or coordination like a Mayweather or Pacquiao they were born with that ability and improved it to keep it at max level but you can't go from being a slow heavy handed puncher to a lighting quick with just practice.
How many times have you heard in any sport about how much talent ands potential some weak minded wife beater has? Champion have the mental toughness to put themselves on the line in the ring not on twitter. This is not about the little guy from Asia. This is about a guy that NEVER fought anyone at there peak.
common guys, its only about talent, it should go to chicken fmj with no questions asked. talent and nothing else, the only thing is that this talent has not been put in good use and a wasted talent its like superman doing the plumbing in your house, he has talent but he is not using it or maybe he does not know how to use it or he does not have enough courage to use it
