Eh, not good for Pacquiao. Now Pacquiao is miles ahead of Jackson on the all-time lists, and I'd pick him with little hesitation if they were the same size, but this is a bad matchup for him. He's already pretty small for WW, let alone 154. He's fairly hittable, and Jackson is one of the hardest hitters P4P in the history of the sport. Jackson gets his share of flack for his punch resistance. He had an average chin against guys his size. It was no worse than Cotto's, and Pacquiao took forever to finish him.
I have a thought....if you are going to make these types of threads, give your opinion first. At 154, Jackson was a banger! He'd be the hardest hitter Pac had ever faced. Wouldn't count Pac out, but him being stopped would be possible.
thread stealer basically summarized my thoughts. P4P he is obviously grater but I don't think Pac beats too many of the greats above 140 though he's having a lot of success in a rather poor era.
jackson power was too much for pac.. guys that beat him were big and could outbox him since jackson didnt had the best skills.. but pac is too small to try that tactic he'll get hit and koed :hat
I think Pac can beat him if he fought smart and ran enough, but damn IDK [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkDha33AGA8[/ame]
Manny would get killed, cmon man. JJ was a bull and hes one of those rare puncher who can take a punch.
