That is fine. Clean up there. There are great fights there against men your size. There are "vulnerable" guys with GREAT names right above you. Most of Pac's and Mayweather's careers where far smaller than 147. You move forward not backward.

If one of those guys calls him out? I see no problem in him answering the call if a named guy issues it, but to call men out at 147 after saying you can't make 154 AND 168 is too big? Just fight at 160. He was BARELY able to make WW when he started boxing. BARELY.

It's all about the money, Bald.

He's doing no different than Bernard did when he was calling out Oscar, while Oscar was fighting in his fourth division (147) and Bernard had already come down from 175.

And nobody ( not many) criticized BHop.

It was all about the $$$$.

    Then and now.

    Not many.

Oscar is often cited as one of his better wins.

Martinez became a middleweight when he admitted that he could no longer cut down below 156. Not a big middleweight, but a middleweight for sure.

like people have said. its Pacweather fans. They are insulted there is another star out in their weight class. So they make excuses for them not wanting to fight him.

Yea that was after the fans were saying Martinez should meet Pac. I think the Martinez-PW 2 fight was before the Pac-Margarito fight.

Why would he fight PW for his MW title at 157? He didnt get that benefit when he beat Kelly for it. He fought a big LHW in Kelly when he won his title.
Also he did come in at a catch weight just to make the damn fight happen.

martinez has been a 160-lber for more than a year now. he came in @170 in his last fight. that's 10 lbs. above the middleweight limit. that makes him a legit middleweight and definitely not a small one.

if martinez does fight @168, that means he will weigh 2 lbs. above the smw limit at fightnight which is exactly like pac fighting welterweights and coming in @148-149 during fights. pac has certainlly proven that he can do it. so, why not martinez too? after all, martinez is touted to be a top 2 p4p fighter now.
