Anyone know if this fight is being televised in Australia? I sort of figured onehd would pick it up as they have all the recent **** Klitschko fights and now that he's fighting someone with a bit of boxing skill (which is likely to be counteracted by the extra 50lb he carries) they've decided not to.
ONEHD are becoming just another channel, too much golf and lame American reality sh*t like the loggers crap!
No one as far as im aware is showing it. Done alot of looking around over the past week & it doesnt look good.
Just got an email from Fox, will be FREE on FoxSports3! Sunday 20 March WBC Heavyweight Title Vitali Klitschko v Odlanier Solis LIVE coverage of main bout from Germany added to schedule. Coverage from 8.55 am EDT on Fox Sports 3. Replay at 9.30 pm EDT on Fox Sports 2.
I wish this sort of live coverage or any sort of coverage of elite world boxing would happen more often. Boxing fans in this country get used and abused far to often.
it's the geese that pay for the mundine vs argie, dunny bill vs the hamburgler and green vs siaca that make us suffer imo. i think if people didn't pay for it, that some would make it to fox sports. but i could be wrong
Don't agree with that at all to be honest. It does encourage Main Event to show dodgy cards, but it's not like Fox Sports step in and show the ones that ME don't cover. Well done to them in this regard. It's worth sending off an email to say thanks and let's hope it's not the last time.
main event cover most of them anyway. its the ones that r on early on sunday morning our time that they don't usually cover or replay on delay.
Well I went from annoyed to being very happy with this news. As bad as the fight potentially could be, it's still for a legitimate heavyweight title and I'll still watch and hope that Klitschko loses just to make things a bit more interesting.
See I don't agree with that really either. Main Event cover plenty, but just recently there's been the likes of Rios v Acosta and Martinez v Dzin that would've been perfect for Fox Sports. You can't tell me that if they advertised Sergio defending his legitimate Middleweight world title it wouldn't draw viewers. (That's not directed straight at you by the way).
