This does kind of make me appreciate Haye that little bit more. Like him, love him or hate him, that man comes in shape for every fight.

247lbs is fine for him now, you can't lose 40 lbs and come in dehydratated ta fight VK, I said before if he came over 255 lbs that I'll not watch the fight so I guess I'll b watching and lets c what happens.

First off two words: Tony Tubbs. Tubbs looked really fat, but like Buster Mathis, he could actually box. This guy Solis is in the best shape of his pro career. Maybe he'll turn out to be another Tony Tubbs. Not likely, but you never know.

As for out-of-shape heavies, it seems the big money just sucks the ambition right out of them. Of course dope and hookers don't help a guy stay focused either. In the old days a fighter would ship out to someplace like the Catskills where he'd be isolated from distractions, or set up camp in a real gym like Stillman's in New York. They'd work their asses off to get into "fighting shape". Back in the day, it was rare to see a heavyweight contender enter a title fight in less than fighting trim.

Maybe these guys need to be slapped with fines if they show up in poor condition.

:rofl:rofl:rofl You guys are hilarious. He looks exactly the same as he did for Arreola. He weighs less then he did for Arreola. He never did have the same musculature that Wlad does. Take it easy.

To me Vitali looks well trained.
    Good luck to both!
And by the way, Öner is a shame for boxing...

The logic in what? That guys from the West who have fought the Klitschkos often look like slobby Toughman contestants? Or that Lewis was out of shape himself for his Klitschko encounter?

Look, I'm American. It's sad, for me, to see the Klitschkos meet a series of fatties who are supposed to be America's and the West's top guys. It's like a reflection on how soft the West has become (which it has become). I'm not cheering this on, but when you see Tubby Solis or others who have come up against the in-shape Klitschkos, again and again, the point becomes more clear.

Good for Solis. IMO he looks the best he has since I have seen him. People are just carried away when they see a little fat on a heavyweight. It just doesnt matter if he is a little chubby. Solis doesnt move like ali, thats not his style.

Vitali is getting old, you can see it. Wonder how many fights he has left in him?

    Solis is going to get

Vitali actually looks pretty jacked, especially in the arms.

For all the "he's-not-in-shape" guys, this video should put to rest your fears about Klitschko's form.

I dont think I want a heavyweight Champ who looks like Solis, and yes if you are also a weight challenged fat **** you can overlook that, but this great Sport deserves better than that fat slob. Imagine how much he will weigh if he wins its almot a liscence to be a whale, for that reason alone Im puling for Vitali.
