Im a big Shogun fan and was hoping he'd win. Was a Jones fan but tried not to get swept up in the hype, but now Im convinced.
Jones may be too much for ANYONE in the division

I was thinking Shogun wins this but then I spotted a massive flaw in his game. jones has this one sewn up ladies and gentleman and after tonight he will solidify his position as one of the top P4P.

Overeem has truly matured but this fight will show Jones to be better overall.

Silva aint got **** on Jones. Believe dat!

GSP I think is the only guy I couldn't say Jones is P4P better than.

Jones would beat Silva IMO. Too strong and just as talented and sneaky with his strikes, kicks and knees, not to mention his obliterating elbows. He's skinny but throws around dense, powerful guys such as Hammil and Bader, and now the very durable Rua, like they're 8 year olds. This guy is a phenom. He will kill Couture and if Rashad doesn't land a haymaker early, Jones will destroy him easier than he did Rua.
He seems to see the punches coming very well and easily gets out of the way. Rashad is pretty quick though so Jones needs to keep the distance and pepper him with kicks. Rashad will get frustrated and swing for the fences. If Machida can KO Rashad, I see Jones doing it relatively easy and catch Rashad rushing in.

Silva is a tall rangy fighter as well with much sharper striking ability and better submissions. Anderson Silva still beats Jones at this stage of their careers - but not for much longer. As soon as Jon Jones is properly seasoned no one will stop him.

Jones will destroy Silva just as easy as he did Rua. Maybe easier.

He will take him down and pound him out.

Wait, I feel like Ive said this before.

    Nevermind

jones would dominate silva... jones is huge for the 205 weight division... silva fights at 185. Jones is fast and doesnt have many weaknesses, he would bee too big for silva and hes just as talented as silva. Jones is scary...

It is a mismatch to expect a 185lber to move up in weight and fight a light heavy who is 6'4 that is athletic and fast, tossing around others in the division like they are his step children. Odds are against Silva on this one.

Silva is pretty big himself. He could fight @ 205 and he has before. I would love to see this fight more than a silva-gsp fight.

silva is 6-2 jones is 6-4 height difference is not too big. Silva is a great striker just like jones. I would love to see this fight.

you are talking about a true 6'4 with broad shoulders and longer limbs 84' reach. There is a reason why Jones aint fighting in middleweight, if he could, he would. He is naturally a bigger guy, no doubt.

If they both were natively in the same division I would too. I actually see Silva as the more talented striker on the feet but Jones has brutal ground striking.

Anderson Silva could not cope with Jones's wrestling. Even though I prefer Silva as a fighter, he would not win this fight.
