Has me curious. Can anyone suggest one of his fights where he has looked on top form, so I can check it out? I want to see what makes this guy so special.

He did pretty well against Margo.

He threw over 1000 punches in the fight and he appeared to never get tired.

He boxed great. Hooked moved out the way......man I gotta get goin......just watch the fight.

Bottom line.. theres only 1 fight upon which everything is based on.. thats why he's overrated in my eyes..

    Williams v Margarito..

Although he does have potential.. His body structure is awkward for any welterweight to fight against..

He can throw a lot punches and he is very long. He would be trouble for Mayweather. He's the only guy I think has a shot at beating him.

Paul is good but he's kinda like Corrales, doesn't use his height well to his advantage. He fought close most of the fight against Margarito when he could jab and right hand all night and win easy, Wladimir style.

    Lacks power in my opinion.

  7. I'veonly seen 1 of his fights where he give Sharmba Mitchell a slapping. Then again my 5 year old niece could give Sharmba Mitchell a slapping.

He's nothing like Corrales, who had 1 punch ko power. Willaims will keep you to the outside. Mayweather was able to get inside of Diego's power and destroyed him. He will have to come up with a different plan for Williams.

I'd watch the Williams and Matthyse fights to get a feel for Paul's strengths and weaknesses.

And I don't think anyone is saying he's in Mayweather's class PfP, just that he is a unique matchup who would give Floyd all kinds of problems.

This is the fight were Floyd's coming up in weight really hurts him, against a prime, southpaw, extremely long, volume-punching, huge welter. Williams is a dedicated jabber and would keep leather in Floyd's face all night. To get inside and counter, Floyd would have to commit to eating more shots than he ever does.

He's got only one fight against a named opponent . . . against Margo. But if that's his top form he won't win against PBF.

He slowed down in the middle rounds up to the end which gave Margo a chance to comeback to the fight.

But definitely . . . he is a problem not only for PBF but to everybody at the division.

Williams threw an astronomical number of punches, and he took Margo's belt from him in the 12th round. Margarito is a big, strong welter who takes a great shot. A fight against Mayweather would be completely different.

Corrales didn't have that much of power. And Williams will keep you outside? Come on bro, watch the Margarito fight.

Mayweather was able to get inside Corrales's power? I don't think so. For my surprise, although Corrales is by far the taller, Mayweather was the one who danced and fought from the outside and threw those lazer right hands in the right time. On the other hand, Corrales spent the whole night being desperate for a chance from Mayweather to start fighting close and make some toe to toe exchanges.

Definitely because I can see Williams gettng tired earllier than what happened in the Margo fight.

Don't forget that PBF is smart and has the ability to take opponents out of their comfort zones and frustrate them.
