All kinds of athletes have nagging pains in certain areas that they don't know will result in serious injury. Some take rest to make absolute sure it's gone, others unfortunately find out the hard way by continuing to train/compete and make it worse. I once had a nagging hip pain that turned into a hip fracture months later. I couldn't have imagined this would have happened as I figured it was a minor annoyance. Now I know that the next time I feel pain, I should rest. Solis is a great fighter and I consider the only thing disgraceful about him is his physique, maybe this injury will show him the effects his weight can have on his body.

yeah, wtf was up with Vitali'a oger ass gloating in front of Solis when he was standing there in agony/pain? He did the same **** to Lennox. Someone from the corner of Solis should've pulled a Bowe/Golota and split Vitali's dome in two with a goddamn cell phone.

yes but it was Vitali's HERCULEAN POWER that caused it. didnt you see it?! the glancing blow buckled Solis so HARD that his ligaments came undone.

    thats some serious power

Jacory, we all know how I hate you and never agree with you...BUT I AGREE WITH THAT POST.

Vitali is a POS. He threatened Sanders after Sanders knocked Wlad out. Pushed Lennox after their fight. I mean this ****ing guy is an *******.

It's all good. at least we can agree and call truce when it comes to klitschko's ***** ass. I'll tell you what though, it ain't no different than when your boy went Tiger Woods upside some dude's mug for ****ing with some stripper. Or better yet, kicking his own mother out of her house. Just saying.

"I didn’t even feel the shot that he landed on me and it certainly did not take me out. I felt that there was something wrong with my leg and I lost my balance. When I went down I knew immediately that there was something wrong."- Solis.

When Vitali landed the right hook on Solis' temple, Solis got drunk, and it showed. Solis showed zero signs of an injury before that punch. Solis is a sore loser. The video does not lie. Vitali's right hook knocked Solis' head around! It shows.

It was the punch that sent him to the canvas in a way that injured his knee! You could tell that BOTH legs were gone after he was hit. Watch the tape. I have blown out my right knee before... and it sure as hell didn't my my left leg turn to jello. His legs... BOTH OF THEM... were still gone when he got back to his feet. His left leg would not have been wobbling around too just because he hurt his right knee.

Threads like this really make me frustrated. It's just amazing how quickly people will insult a fighter when he's had a stroke of bad luck. I'm not gonna say Solis was winning the fight, but for it only going a round, he put up a pretty good account of himself compared to the recent competition. I just wish it'd gone on longer.

Vargas' life is in shambles. Not to mention, I don't really follow his personal life. I am more of a fan of what he did in the ring.

Solis did well. He was winning the fight & clearly won the event.

Hope he recovers soon & we see him back in the ring.
