Solis was just warming up and had Vitali timed evidenced by landing completely flush everytime he throw an overhand right, he wasn't loading up and he was doing a really good job going backwards, he wouldve started coming forward when he's seen vitali's full arsenal and he was landing on his body too how many guys can say that, This wouldve been at the very least a competitive war but if a rematch is announced i'm literally bolting to the TABs and putting 1000 on Solis by Knockout

I thought Gomez had Vitali baffled in the first round of their fight. Followed by Vitali immediately ad******g, breaking him down lopsidedly to a TKO. But, yeah, maybe Solis would've been much more competitive, with age on his side. :conf We'll probably never know.

Edit: Please stop this ridiculous asterisking of that word. It's a site about boxing. That word is going to come up DAILY. Stop it. Please.

Gomez was using his only style and once vitali figuered him out it was over, solis was boxing and landing flush shots on vitali which is wasnt loading up on to see what vitali's counter arsenal was like, solis is a guy who works best when he's inside the opponents guard on their chest and go to work, thats the key differnece between solis and gomez, solis was just getting warmed up and testing him out whereas that was gomez at his best, I really hope for this rematch this will be the best since klitschko lewis

Solis wupped Klits ass in that round. It looked like it was going to be an easy night for the Cuban. Lucky for the knee injury.

    1. Well, no, that wasn't Gomez at his best. Jesus.
    2. He looked fairly loaded up to me when he landed those two good shots I saw him land, I don't care what Dwyer says.
    3. Vitali>Austin. Where's your god now? :blurp

From the little you saw in that round you couldnt really tell much. I mean Solis was doing good so depending on the odds in a rematch i might place some money on him being that Vitali would only be getting older.

However knee injuries are bad bad for any sport. Take a long time to heal and maybe never even fully heal. Specially supporting a guy who walks around at 250. Thats alot of weight on a joint. Solis probably will never even be the same either. I had a knee injury and i still feel some pain on it from time to time. My kick in soccer has not been as strong as it used to be and pivoting fast can also hurt sometimes.
