Tony Jeffries - "Brooks has taken me to a new level"

yeah he said i been working really hard and sparrings great. I'm sitting here thinking great this is what he needs then he says ''can't spar till end of may cos of surgery on the cut from last fight''.

Antcull i agree we can be down on our prospects but i think most of his criticism is just. It isn't one bad display it's a handful of really worrying performances. He gets cut cos he can't keep range and he seems to lack real core fundamentals of the sport for a guy who done so well as a AM. I know Maloney doesn't like prospects getting cut as he shouldn't allow journeymen to get that close to clash with head or cut with punch.

I heard before his last bout he was on twitter at 4am on morning of bout?...if true that's pathetic.

 

I think the sparring he's talking about was the sparring he got for the Tolan fight to be fair

 

yeah and he didn't look impressive in that bout imo. I was hoping he picked things up. He still got cut and still looked poor even Brooks looked annoyed.

I know you need time but he's gotta make improvements fast.
