B-hop RJJ Pernell Whitaker Joe Calzaghe Floyd Mayweather Oscar De La Hoya Shane Mosley Winky Right James Toney Thats all I can think of.
I saw RJJ on the list, but is he really a master boxer? Sure , he was almost unhumanly quick of hand, foot and eye. But as far as boxing skill, he did a lot of things wrong, hands down, head up in the air, getting away with it because he was so quick. When he slowed down a hundreth of a second , he had no way to get out of the way of Tarver or Johnson, no ATG's those guys. In contrast, you've got Hopkins still befuddling people with his mastery of boxing at the age of 42. Thats a master boxer IMHO, not a slowed down ex-speedster like Jones.
Finito James Toney Pernell Whitaker MAB B-Hop Mayweather Cotto (need a good body work type of fighter) Forrest (lanky jab crosser) Wright ODLH
James Toney Roy Jones Jr. Oscar De La Hoya Sugar Shane Mosley Winky Wright Erik Morales Bernard Hopkins Joe Calzaghe Floyd Mayweather Jr.
1. Calzaghe by a mile. 2. Anyway back onto Calzaghe. He is actually more skilled than Hopkins, which is impressive considering Hopkins great success with so little physical talent.
have we forgotten the incomparable Ricardo Lopez? C'mon guys!!! Mine: Mayweather Lopez Whitaker Toney Hopkins Lewis Calzaghe No ODLH-lost too many close fights to be considerd a great boxer to me, no RJJ the man was not that technicaly proficient, just had other worldly reflexes and knockout power in both hands.
