The fact that he couldn't stand without holding on to the ropes makes it a KO not a TKO.

A legal punch? vitali couldnt KO over the hill briggs with clean blows that actually landed, and you are trying to convince me that he put solis to sleep with a touch/graze????

yeah he was KO'd but he was KO'd by himself, his fat out of shape ass, that his pinny legs could not hold up....just like most of the 'contenders' the klitschko's have faced.

Not from what I've read (see first 4 or 5 responses in this very thread for instance)

Most of the haters have been arguing that Solis blew his knees out throwing a punch, bobbing, jumping, jabbing, anything but falling or losing his balance after a Vitali punch.

Vitali's reaction tells you all you need to know about the result. He knew he hadn't hit Solis hard enough to KO him. It looks to me that the shot landed on Solis' head, but the confirmation of the severity of the injury and that reaction is enough for me. Vitali probably would have beaten him anyway, but it should really be a TKO.

Have to totally agree with this quote, its very simple for all to see that his left leg is gone from underneath him!

This is just a rub it in thread for all the people that blasted me on my last thread "Why is everyone saying Solis was KO'd!!!". Read it and weep "The WBC has ruled that Solis injured his knee WITHOUT VITALI HAVING ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT." So now I invite all of the smartguys with all of your technical definitions that is was officially a ko to come back and eat a little crow. I know this is immature but sometimes you can't let opportunities like this slip away:yep and people were on there talking mad s#%&. LOL.

the fight ended because of a injury that was caused by him falling down which was caused by a vitali punch, its logic: vitali tko 1
