i'd say that there is more to the story...that 100mil was probably cutting into arums money on the fight....that fight should generate enough money for both fighters to get close to 100mil.....i mean didnt may make 80million on the mosley fight...

Arum doesn't want to pay pac that money

No. He got $22.5m. Asking for $100m, whether it is negotiating or not is rediculous.

He doesn't want the fight. It's obvious. He's just making excuses. I knew that even if the OSDT wasn't a sticking point, he'd come up with some other outrageous demand.

Even if they guaranteed him the $100M, he'd come up with some other crazy **** like demanding that Manny fight blind folded.

If they sold the PPV at the estimated $80 a pop. And reached the projected 3mill homes. That would equate to $240mil (just off PPV). If Mayweather and Pac both agreed to 80mil a piece. That would still leave another 80mil on the table. Give them $90 mil a piece and that would leave 60mil on the table. Is that enough money to spread around to the rest of the people? I don't really know the business from that perspective.

Of course the 3mil homes isn't guaranteed though. Can they negotiate what guarantee they would get based off how many homes the sell to??

After FMJ said 100 million, I wonder if he did that thing with his pinky finger against his mouth like Dr. Evil.

This is completely false, and is just part of a Don King media campaign.

Look at the only people reporting it? Pinoy sites, and Mayweather haters.

The actual truth is, Mayweather demanded $100 million to sign for King. It wasn't anything to do with Pacquiao.

The $100 million, was for a 3 fight deal, that included Manny

You know, when Bob Arum says something, and every legit boxing site ignores it, it's usually because it's false

You know, Mayweather was boasting about the $100 million King deal, 6 months ago.

It's not new, relevant, or anything to do with Pacquiao

No, not really. I guess what I'm saying is, if you believe the article, and you believe that there is potentially a quarter billion in revenue from the fight, then why woudn't Floyd (knowing how much he likes to negotiate) shoot high in the hopes to get $75-$80mm?
