^ Not only that, but i don't recall jirov being a "flurrier" at least not a slapper like joe C. so don't get the comparison

Calzaghe now old and with brittle hands could get a decision against a prime Jirov.

That is exactly why Joe "Slappy White" Calzaghe will never be acknowledged as an ATG, EXCUSES.
He couldn't move down because of this, and he couldn't move up because of that, and he ducked the best fighter because he had cramps.
Funny how all of the fighters you wimps want to compare as Calzaghe being equal to ALL moved up to capture titles.

    Even this guy.

can you tell me what jirovs 5 best victories are?

he was just considered a eurobum at this side of the atlantic. he would also be considered the same accross your side of the atlantic if he wasn't used as a desperate measure to try and boost toneys resume.

    AGREED!
An absolute amazing display of boxing of which none of Calzaghe's fights even remotely compare.
This Jirov would have easily demolished Calzaghe and clearly shown that he is far less of a Euro-bum relative to Joe. :good

Eh? Jirov fought at cruiserweight - he'd never make SMW or LHW. If he did..........he'd be so weight drained that Calzaghe would outwork and outbox him easily.

At cruiserweight (190lbs), Jirov might wear Calzaghe down for a stoppage.

But equally Calzaghe might use his speed, movement and boxing ability to win on points. It would be very difficult though because Jirov was so relentless.

This would be the FlurryFest Of The Century! Blizzards of inaccurate slaps pelting off each others' elbows, shoulders, hips, backs, earlobes, arsecheeks, this fight would have it all!!!!!

:patsch Jirov was beaten by Toney and just look at Toneys resume when he was SMW champ, you break it down

    Toney -

1993 he wins the title from iran barkley a fighter who years earlier was blown away by nigel benn in 1 round and pummelled to a loss by a shot roberto duran  barkley went onto lose 11 out of 25 fights following this fight and never beat anyone who was remotely good in doing so,the guy was so desperate he was even plying his trade as a HW in the late 90's against the likes of berbick  and they say this era is a joke

toney then fought govonor chambers a guy with a career record of 9 wins 7 losses, all 3 fights prior to toney were ko losses!

ricky thomas: won 11 lost 14,the 4 fights he had prior to toney all losses!

glenn thomas:won 29 lost 8, lost to roy jones prior to toney and finished his career with a first round ko loss to jeff lacy.

danny garcia: won 30 lost 22, was coming off losses to chris pyatt (a steve collins victim) lamar parks etc

larry prather: won 19 lost 24,lost his last 5 fights prior to the toney fight even losing to nicky piper

tony thornton: won 37 lost 7,lost to chris eubank a year earlier.

anthony hembrick: won 31 lost 8,lost to maske prior to toney and orlin norris a year earlier.

tim littles: won 27 lost 3,maybe one of his better wins, had fought mainly bums with the exception of a close UD over frankie liles, went onto lose to frankie liles in a 2nd contest following the toney fight.

vinsom durham: won 21 lost 37  enough said.

charles williams: won 37 lost 7 drew 3,lost to maske prior to toney.

    and finally the jones fight.

Toney lost his next fight straight after to novice midget M Griffin

Calzaghes 2 fights at LHW beating P4P #3 Ring LHW champ and Ring #6 Jones is a better resume than all of Toneys LHW resume  and as said Toney beat Jirov

A fighter who gets beaten by a fighter who lost to D Thadzi :nut

admit it,calzaghe is the greatest smw ever and the people who complain about bum resumes are the same people who pump ^^^^that **** up and the likes of bhops resume too

calzaghes record pisses all over toneys resume at there prime weights, and Toney beat Jirov.

At SMW or LHW Calzaghe easily beats Jirov, Easily

Tell me what were Jirovs 5 best wins, this will be good

Troll you have been schooled again

Jirov's best fight was probably against Mesi who was an undefeated heavyweight, and Jirov basically ended his career.

So what the f#@% are you talking about?

The Jirov that fought Toney would destroy Calzaghe.
