The day after the fight, I was actually thinking that Shogun should face Griffin in a rematch; followed by a fight with Jackson if he were successful against Griffin. Then I thought the winner of Shogun and Jackson should get the next title shot. Edit: I should have said the winner of Shogun vs Griffin should face Jackson. Griffin and Jackson have a little bit of unfinished business.
i love when forrest gets put down, and everyone things he will loose, cause thats when he shines =] i wouldnt mind seeing him fight the winner of the machida couture fight?anyone
Rua-Griffin II is a great fight, but I would rather see Rua-Rampage over that one. Then Griffin fights the winner of that fight. In fact Griffin holds a victory over both of them. :think
I rather see shogun vs rampage but with all the injuries shogun has gone through the past couple of years. I wouldn't mind him taking an easy fight at this point.
I would like to see the fight. What I would love to see happen is this: The winners of Forest versus Shogun and Machida versus Couture fight each other while they wait in line for title fights because . . . Rampage is going to fight the winner of, Jon Jones versus Rashad, if he gets past Hamil.
While most rematches have a point and are interesting, I'm kind of tired of them. I'd like to see some fresh matchups, Forrest is one of those fighters who still has a lot of fresh fights at LHW, as is Shogun, I'd just rather see them do something else.
Yep, Rua would need to finish him on the feet as opposed to stomping his head into the mat since the UFC dont allow the best rules. I think Shogun v Griffin would be a good comeback fight personally but he need to get in Liddell/Machida type shape because Forest is a cardio machine & if Rua is not in the best shape & cant KO Forest early, he`ll likely lose again. Rua is a fighter that needs to be active & injury free, on top form Id back him vs any 205 lber, maybe even Jones too, I wouldnt bet on that one tho.
