I never watched Johnson til he upset Jones then he beat and then lost to Tarver and then stayed in the spot light but then he lost badly to Dawson in the rematch and really showed age and then lost to Cloud and I think declared all but done suddenly he has KO'd Green and now is now considered a force to be reckoned with and a serious threat to Froch amazing how he turns back the clock time and time again and reinvents himself over and over again what attributed to the horrible losing streak post Hopkins? How did he turn it around? new trainer? dedication? was 168 that tough and 175 was more open? Then did bringing his punch down vs smaller men help him stay relevant in moving back to 168? Can he beat Froch?
im more curious to have my questions answered about the post hopkins slide when he lost to ottke and judah and so forth
Look Glen was far far from prime when he fought Hopkins ok. Only hardcore Hopkins nut clingers would say otherwise. Glen got used as a name to exploit primarily from Tarver and Wooods but he doesn't care the man is minted has a heart of gold and a warrior's mentality + he has a fit wife and will retire in a warm tropical country where the women will sit on your face for a $5 bacardi. Trust me he's really not that bothered
He seems like a pretty sharp guy. I hope hes invested his money wisely. Even though I'm a froch fan, I can't help but root for this guy... I hope he gets 1 more big payday and calls it quits. Taking punches to the brain and long road work aren't good for anyone his age.
i'm picking froch to win but jhonson is gonna make it hard for him. froch's style of fighting will suit glen down to the ground. it's gonna be a war.
Johnson is a man I'll always root for, whenever he fights. He is a humble guy, and seems a chilled dude. I love the guy, he really is a road warrior.
