Not a chance. the difference is mental toughness.

    I dont think so.

Ali was a great smotherer, and Tyson wasn't THAT tough to smother. Ali also has quite possibly the best chin and the greatest pain tolerance and will to win of any champion in heavyweight history. He ascends as fights go on, and Tyson gets weaker.

Tyson's chance in this match-up is to end things early, and with a puncher that dynamic and fast, this is possible. But I'd bet sizeably on Ali soaking up the heat and ringing Mike out to dry, and I'd feel damn good about my investment.

    Terrible match up for Tyson.

None had tysons speed though, theres not much of a chance of tyson stopping ali, but he could possibly hurt him

Prime Ali would win every round against a prime Tyson.

maybe im wrong here but i think some people are judging a prime tyson against a non prime Ali, because there is no way in Gods world they could possibly be thinking of Ali in his prime. Tyson OUTPOINTING a prime Ali??? Has the world gone mad??? Possible but highly, highly improbable

He didn't win every round against Chuvalo or Mildenberger, but a Peak Tyson will be easier? :huh

I think Mikes chin was granite, all of his stoppages were accumulation.

Frazier had a lot more heart and will though.

Tyson could very well be ahead after six, and it could be close after twelve. I think Ali is a much better favorite in a 15-round fight then he is in a 12-rounder. Still, he's a favorite either way.

Tyson is a whole different fighter than the one's you just mentioned. Imagine someone with the same weight as Foreman and faster than Frazier with a great chin and excellent technique. Sure, Tyson can knockout Ali. Can he outpoint him over 12? Maybe...
