I would say whats closer to the truth is...........Americans lap up everything their spoonfed by their media, so its fashionable to hate on the Klits, cause that is the agenda that media is pushing, they dont have commonsense to realize their opinion is being coerced.

As far as Americans are concerned, what happens in America, is whats happening in the world.

The idea that the klits are very popular anywhere outside of germany and maybe some other similar eastern european heavily white pride places is laughable.

THE REASON they fight in germany is BECAUSE they couldn't sell out a village hall anywhere else.

This goes down well in germany because germans are about as exciting and flamboyant as watching paint dry.

Strongly disagree....Let the Right one In is superb, suspensful and hugely atmospheric, the script being written by the writer of the novel, John Ajvide Lindqvist. Let me In has a really low brow parody effect going on, changes a few scenes (messing them up), switches a character or two around and adds some crumby sentimental music, that really isn't needed.

And ya got the titles the wrong way around :hey

But yes, too much Hollywood cinema is copied and derivative!!!

 

Americans just get tired of ignorant eastern Europeans acting like the klits are better than sliced bread and saying the klits could whip Tyson, Ali, Foreman, Holyfield, etc in there prime when Lewis beat that ass when he was already old.

Here's a reality check for you eastern Europeans. Neither of the klits is in the top 20 all time and anyone I just listed in there prime would KO them or at least provide 12 rounds of complete klit submission with an easy decision. Yes, they are good, but they are not great and this is beside the point of them also being the most boring duo in sports.

There good but the GOAT discussions and talk about them being able to beat '87 Tyson needs to stop.

Lets go back to 1996. You have 2 brother boxers with good amateur records, one of them even an olympic gold medalist. Both of them wanna turn pro.

If you seriously wanna turn pro as a heavyweight boxer one should probably choose from these 3 countries as career starting points: USA, Germany, England.

For whatever reason they choose Germany, which is not an odd choice considering their background (former Soviet fighters etc.).

So their careers start in Germany. Their first bouts are being televised by small tv sport channels and the german public sees vicious first & second round knockouts. Just the usual business, careful matchmaking (sort of), to make them look good in order to build up some recognision, public image. Knockouts create interest, some people become fans. 3 years later one of the brothers fights for a world title and he gets the job done in 2 rounds.

Nowadays they are huge in Germany. What's surprising about that?

My question: Wasnt the same thing done with Tyson? Careful matchmaking to build up interest and then a title fight which he wins.

Just imagine: It's 1996, and instead going to Germany they sign with lets say Don King and they start their careers in the US.

Isn't it reasonable to assume that an american promoter would also have tried to build them up, with some huge marketing and stuff? I would go even further: In Germany, their skin color didnt play a role whatsoever, that was nothing special. But in the US their skin color would have mattered. Just look at the whole Gerry Cooney thing back then. Jim Lampley is spot on on this: If they were American (or at least american-based) they would have been on of the most well known athlete stars in the US. Household names. My god, they would have probably gotten US citizenship right now.

 

What the hell do you expect the Klitschko fans to say then!? Why not try turn the coin around, and see it from the other side! Maybe others are getting tired of americans acting like no one of today would stand a chance against fighters from "the golden age" The problem you name here is that everytime The Klits beats an new opponent, then these Klits vs Ali, Tyson etc. fantasy fight threads comes right away! And i doubt these threads are made by Klit-fans!

So if you want to stop these threads, then silence the haters!
