I guess i just want some clarity.

The main sticking point is the ODT.

If Manny comes out and publicly says YES... This puts the ball in Floyds court and then we can finally get to the bottom of who wants it, and who doesnt.

All we ever get is promoters, family members, camp members etc talking for them.

    Its annoying and boring now.

I don't understand what difference that makes.... floyd fought last year and got high PPV numbers... why does that make him king in 2011... stop living in the past.

    It's only March.

Steve Kim tweeted last night that Floyd and Golden Boy were working on a PPV date in June before the latest court delay, so either way it's starting to become clear that we will see Floyd in the ring this year.

I'll guarantee that his tuneup will do better numbers than this megafight between Mosley and Pac.

Going by your logic how can pac be king of 2011 when he hasn't even fought yet.

I never said that Floyd was king in 2010... Manny had a better year by far

Why would Pacquiaos Political Career, and Presidential opportunity be in the line.

I think boxing should be the last thing in the peoples head when choosing a president, senator...ect.

I don't know either. Great fighters have called out each other in the past. I don't think either one wants the fight right now. We keep hearing different reports on what Manny has agreed to. First Manny said he would take the 14 day off that wasn't even on the table anymore. Then he said he would take random testing until the day of the fight. After that we hear the Pac Manager said he only agreed to 7 days. Then Amir says that Manny wouldn't take the tests. Finally we hear Manny say he would take the tests but the Floyd camp says he is lying. Floyd got himself into a whole bunch of trouble with road rage, beating females, and getting in trouble with security guards. Once Floyd and Manny realize that this is to much money to past up they will fight each other.

By your logic Floyd also picks up Pacmans leftovers so?!

You fight the best available - if the best available doesn't want to fight who do you fight then? I think pac could have taken on tougher challenges in his move through the divisions but he still beat top quality stock, regardless of whether mayweather fought em before him

They can give emmanuel as many awards they want and talk bad about FLoyd all day, but Floyd's status always tops emmanuel

    This!

If either one of them actually wanted the fight then they would come out and say it - say it themselves and not through promoters or advisors or whatever.... I'd hate to think neither one of them cares about legacy

emmanuel can milk boxing for all he's worth by having these random fights before cashing out by losing to Floyd.

why do you think Manny is a congressman? Because he's a world famous boxer.

If he loses to Mayweather his political stock would plummet.
