    Mexico- tons of boxers
    Colombia- decent amount of fighters
    Venezuela- decent amount
    Puerto Rico- plenty of boxers
    Cuba- many boxers
    Dominican Republic- not many

Currently boxing from la Republica Dominicana, Victor Cayo, Joan Guzman, and Fernando Guerrero, Darling Jimenez, are all I know of...and the pana that just got KO'd by Barrera. Any idea on why boxing may not be as big in DR? I know baseball is huge there, but it's huge in Venezuela, and PR too.

    Because it compete with------ BASEBALL.

All of the athletic kids get funneled towards baseball due to the long and deep connections with American scouts.

Panama is the strongest South of Mexico. They have Guillermo Jones, a very good and underrated CW champ, Caballero a The Ring P4P-er before a loss outside of his division, Luis Concepcion and Anselmo Moreno, two very skilled current champs, there's Ricardo Cordoba plus a bunch of others, strong crop overall. You'll gonna hear a lot about Concepcion.

Nicaragua has given us some fighters, not as many as the other countries mentioned but Arguello ( rest in peace ) was a legend! The always entertaining Mayorga and El Chocolatito is a dominant reigning champ.
