three fighters have a style that could upset Mayweather. Williams, Spinks, and Forrest. Williams jab followed by volume punching as well as moving very good on his feet and outstanding upper body movement. Spinks jab and foot movement for defense. Forrest with his patient style and very good right hand off of the jab with solid foot movement. All of the various pressure fighting tactics is what Mayweather thrives off of. Those three may not be the most popular but they could clip Mayweather with their styles. Delahoya could beat Mayweather if he fought like he did against Trinidad for the first six rounds. Jab with good movement. Use his size and make Mayweather come out of his element and come forward and then counter him.
I agree pressure isn't the key. I also agree with you about Spinks, I said this same thing last week. A fighter like Spinks would give PBF fits. A long armed southpaw with fast hands a good jab, good movement and defense. If Spinks was more active I'd be tempted to make him the favorite.
I can understand you thinking Castillo won because you are obviously a Castillo fan, and when you score if its close or MAyweather slightly won, I can understand you giving the point to Castillo. That's a natural thing to do even if you're not consious of the fact that you are doing it. But the De La Hoya fight is a different story. Anyone that says Oscar won that fight hurts their credibility. It starts to make me wonder if you really think Castillo really won.
I have absolutely no bias at all, being neither a huge Floyd or Castillo fan, but it is very clear to me who won the first fight. Castillo. If you doubt that, you're lying to yourself.
The very fact that you said Oscar beat PBF shows you don't have a clue as to how to properly score a fight or simply a PBF hater to which you have admited to BTW. While Oscar was the aggressor he was ineffective and did nothing but throw BS flurries and try and steal rounds. Everything else other than his jab that landed until PBF took that away either missed or was blocked. Oscar was scared to let his hands go in the middle of the ring because he knew he would be countered. He was beaten to the punch and faded down the stretch on cue. PBF landed the cleaner and harder shots. Good thing that the judges didn't buy that flurry bull**** and ineffective aggression and scored the fight for ring-generalship, effective punching and defense. Oscar won no more than 4 rounds in that fight deal with it hater.:hi:
Lmao you can tell when a dumbass like freddy wak doesnt know **** when they have OScar beating Floyd LOL!
the only way to at least trouble pbf is by using a superior jab......kinda like oscar almost did. but then again......it was only an "almost" win.
Too bad everyone already knows you dont know **** about boxing. And run like a little biatch when anybody calls you out on it.
So, basically you are telling me you have never predicted the outcome of a fight and made a wrong guess? "Everyone" knows do they? OK, sure. You and Pimp C, and maybe several other wannabe gangsta's don't constitute "everyone". Sorryto beak it to you. "Run"? My friend, I am still here.
Cotto is a better welterweight than Hatton, so he didn't miss anything. thats like if Floyd said he would outbox Cotto and then someone said "didn't you see Cotto-Malignaggi"
