I'd be disappointed, but plenty of other fighters to take his place.

I enjoy watching him box, but if he doesn't step in the ring with Pacquiao...I definitely wouldn't be excited about his upcoming bouts as I should be.

Like it or not Floyd is a great talent. Shame he cant get his ****ing act together and fight more frequently against people like Berto and Khan. they aint the biggest fights in the world but they would keep him active until he finally fought pacquiao but it looks like the chances of that fight coming off are next to zero

I honestly want Mayweather to go away. I love the sport of boxing, and I love ESB, but both would be better off with out this punk and all the raging *****s who hang on his every word.

Of course, anyone who does not enjoy watching Mayweather in the ring does not enjoy boxing in its purest form IMO + the FMJ-Pac fight not happening will go down as arguably the biggest disappointment in boxing history if it does not happen & dickriding fans aside, it will reflect very bad on both men in yrs to come... as it should.

Hell yea I would care. Floyd is my favorite fighter. It would be a shame for him to retire like this. He should retire ob top like he did the first time.

Athough I would love to see someone smash both his hands with a hammer, I would be dissapointed if he didnt have 1 more hurrah in him and take on the likes of Pac, Berto, Khan, etc...

Floyd doesn't represent boxing in its purest form, IMO. He's a great defensive fighter but ultimately, boxing is about beating another fighter down into submission, not just outpointing him.

I don't think Floyd not fighting will reflect badly on Pacquiao. He's still a 140 lber taking on bigger fighters to the point that posters are clamoring for him to take on Sergio to prove his greatness. Floyd is slowly being erased from the equation.
