    The reason Lewis didn't give Vitali a rematch is quite simple:

    The hunger, desire & discipline, to get himself in the condition required for a rematch, was not as strong. The desire went & Lewis was smart enough to know that once that diminishes, its time to get out of the sport!

    You'd have thought these so called "boxing fans" would have clued into this by now would you?

    I guess these so called "boxing fans" never paid attention to when Dempsey retired, what age Marciano was when he retired, what age Frazier was when he retired, and how poorly was the performance when those who didn't retire should have. Ali and Louis in particular. And if you need even more proof that boxers get old, look at a 36 year old Tyson and a 22 year old Tyson. Hell you don't even have to go beyond the Klitschko's themselves. The Vitali who fought Lewis would KO the current version of himself, of that I have no doubt.

    kept going? he held on on for almost the entire round after that punch. Lewis was running away to escape the clinchfest of vitali after that blow landed :lol:
