Bute, KO - body shot late.
Kessler's tough, one hell of a super middle.
But Bute will find another home for his uppercut to the solar plexus.

That's air. Just air, really. You can't back that claim up, and one couldn't clearly claim the opposite.

It's too bad Kessler didn't actually KO Andrade.

Love the unjustified hate Montreal gets for becoming one of the biggest boxing cities in the world... Bute would need four KO's to get a win in Denmark, how's that? You're knowledgeable on a lot of stuff, but as proven before, at the end of the day you're just a biased *******. :D

Kessler's orthodox, powerful 1-2 style is perfect for Bute. If only Kessler had an edge in handspeed...

Bute will outland Kessler, and start hurting him bad to the body in the 6-7th rd. TKO 9.

Kessler should NOT come back making excuses as to 'if I lose, it'll be living proof that my eyes are not back 100%'. If he comes back in top shape, we'll have a FOTY candidate.

Kessler a huge step up for Bute.Unless Bute is protected by his home town cronies,Kessler wins in any other venue.Should the fight be in Montreal all bets are off, however.

Funny how idiotic haters never go beyond 'Bute will lose / get stopped'... providing an explanation that's actually related to boxing would require tremendous amounts of effort, so unfortunately it's a no-go for them. Where's that ***** MrMagic anyway?!? :D

    Good job. :good

Every time a promoter puts his fighter up against a GYM/Interbox guy, and wins the purse bid, the fight goes to Quebec. Go figure. :yep

Bute will have fought @ MSG by same time next year. Given Showtime's expectations and given Interbox's intent to "bring Bute to the US in 2011/2012", it's almost a fact at this point.

Bute TKO 9 Kessler @ MSG in Oct 2011. Better start preparing/wording those excuses now.

Mr Magic is a Kessler dick rider, but he's too scared to predict this one. By the way Bute wins, maybe by KO.

Younger Kessler beats Bute, but I don't know about now. Could wind up bad for him.

love kessler...however i feel i can use the calzaghe fight as a reference of how he can both win and lose this fight.

if he can regain the form he had in the calzaghe fight, kessler will be as game as they come. he was still using that beauty of a 1-2 right uppercut. he caught joe with a couple textbook uppercuts that i feel would wobble lucian. however, in his recent fights, mikkel has been throwing wild looping shots. froch by his own admission didnt take advantage of this. its been crazy noticable how mikkel has changed.

on the other hand, kessler was open to the body against joe and by his own admission was hurt bad to the body. lucian is a devastating body puncher and if kessler is both wild and open to the body, it may be short work here folks. lucian is quick enough to counter right down the pipe if mikkel is still looping his shots like he has been lately. couple that with a left hook to the body while mikkel is covering up from said straight counters....

need to see mikkel fight again before i write him off. he's a true warrior and deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Stylistically i think Kessler has the edge here. However Butes vicious body shots always can change the fight at any time. Not to mention Kessler has admitted he has been hurt to the body.

I have to see more of Kessler. This is a true 50-50 fight.

I second this. But it all depends on what condition Kessler is in. I think Bute can beat the version of Kessler we saw against Ward and Froch, but if Kessler somehow got back 100% and injuryfree, its a clear decision for Kessler, or even a TKO!

I really hope Kessler will surprise and win like he did with Froch but no doubt that Lucian Bute is the favourite

Ahhh stop it.. What styles does Kessler hate the most? (slickslap & slickheadbut) styles.

Lets take a look at Bute.. Now what style does he have? First.. Andrade is able to put preassure on Bute..

    Kessler owned Andrade.

Kessler was able to put good preassure on Froch. Froch is a tougher fighter IMO than Bute..

Like i wrote before.. Bute CAN only win this on KO. And if its a KO, its gonna be like this:

Kessler puts preassure on Bute to the corner, and Kessler starts his normal rutine combo slaughter... But suddenly BOOM.. A uppercut to Kesslers WEAK stomage.. Bam KO.

IF THIS DOSNT HAPPEN, THEN IM AFFRAID THAT ALL YOU BUTE LOVERS WILL SEE YOUR HERO GET THE BEATEN OF HIS LIFE :/ SORRY!
