    WTF?

I had assumed that Sky were sort of invested in simulcasting the entire tournament over there and keeping it branded (as it is here with Showtime).

    What a foolish decision.

nah man, none of the tournament has been on sky, in fact sk has totally ignored it, with the exception of the Froch-Abraham fight(only after Carl had won)

Since when is a British title fight with James DeGale and George Groves a PPV standard fight? This is totally bull**** and the promotors have to take some blame along with Sky. I havnt bought a PPV in years since Hatton v Pacman. I wouldnt give my money to watch sub standard fights classed as PPV.Khan and Haye should be the only PPV fighters on Sky the rest should be on normal Sky.

Regarding the Froch fight if Sky are showing it there is no chance that a PPV will sell big numbers its a simple fact. Froch should be on normal Sky or if not Sky what are the chances of Priemier Sports showing it live hasnt Hennessey put a couple of cards on Priemier Sports so far. Its a shame that Froch or Sky havnt got behind Froch as they have lost out big time on his fights so far but Sky cant keep putting PPVs on with fighters that are not up to the standard as the fans wont pay extra money to watch them.

Hennessy should have bitten the bullet and offered Sky the Froch v Taylor fight for pittance when ITV wouldn't show it, in the hope of building him up as a Box Office fighter over time. Haye wasn't on Sky in early 2009 when Setanta were about, so Khan and Hatton were the only two PPV fighters at that time (and Hatton never fought after that May). He must have made ****all on that web stream they did for that fight, so have the Taylor fight on Sky Sports, then by Dirrell, or if not then by Kessler he is well known to the typical Sky Sports News and a PPV fighter.

Of course the most clueless thing of all he did was having a contract with ITV for a show a month, and then wanting extra on top for Froch.:patsch

Short term loss, long term gain.

Well to be honest Frank Warren has a big part of the blame with that ****ing deal for Amir Khan on PPV as soon as he moved from ITV. The way Warren is going it wont be long before he will try and have Brook , Gavin , DeGale and Clev all fighting as PPV fighters also IF he had his way a couple more would be added to that list. Greedy **** is Warren.

    GOOD!

I can't believe how everyone is accepting Sky's new policy of showing any decent name on Sky Box Office now. Shít, Khan, Haye, Groves/DeGale/Cleverly and y'all want Froch too? It's a **** take is what it is. Setanta's coverage was miles better and all you paid was a monthly subscription fee for the entire channel. I didn't mind paying £15 for the twice a year Ricky Hatton fought but now any one with a title seems to be banded on Sky Box Office.

Boxing is a sport. Why doesn't the cost of a Sky Sports subscription cover boxing?

    Fúck Sky.

Aye, but it's up to Sky to tell him to f**k right off...not pay the purses of Degale and Groves!

    Sky is a ****ing disgrace.

Go give Amir Khan dates with no opponents and let him pick another McCloskey.

Johnson is a proven warrior who will come to fight. The same goes for Froch.

The odds are that you won't get Haye vs Harrison nor Haye vs Valuev nor Khan vs Salita!

I thought Adam Smith was going to make things happen. Ringside is good but its the fights that the fans really want to see.

They already are all on PPV. Bar Gavin, those names you have listed have had all their recent fights on Box office. We all know how much Frank creams himself at the thought of PPV, and the only way any of him doing that at the moment is by combining them all together on one card. Sure they are decent cards-but should Cleverly, DeGale and Brook really be on PPV at this stage of their careers? Should they ****. 3 or 4 years back we were getting Calzaghe and Enzo mac in world title fights on FTA tv!

Blame Warren for wanting to leech every penny from PPV, and blame Sky for letting him do so.

The khan PPV date almost nearly ****ed up Haye fighting Klitschko aswell!

Sky need to grow a few new brain cells. That being said... Froch should of left fat Mick along time ago in my opinion. If he had a promoter worthy of holding a world champion this nonsense wouldn't be happening in the first place.

Is it a case of sky refusing to show Froch, or just not being able to?
