Is there a way to filter out the white dudes? I've been looking for a white filter for this board for ages.

My comment may be met with some gaffaws but IMO Patterson showed some fine recuperative power after being hurt early. If you didn't stop him he would always come roaring back. I've often wondered what would have happening had Ingo nailed him towards the end of round three in their first scrap?
Was he ever REALLY decked after the first few rounds in his entire career?

Agreed about Patterson. You can have great recuperative powers even without taking the greatest punch. LaMotta I don't think recovered from being hurt that great, it's just that he barely ever got hurt.

Ray Robinson deserves a mention in most categories and he is equally deserving here as well. Always came roaring back from being hit. Ezzard Charles too based on film and newspaper articles. He could be hurt and the moment after flatten you with a devastating combination of punches. Archie Moore and Jose Basora could tell you about it.

As no-one has mentioned him I feel Froch deserves a mention.

I have seen him eat big shots then shake them off, he only got going in the Taylor fight after he was knocked down.

He only got going in the Taylor fight after Taylor gassed because he didn't train right, as usual.

Hmmm... I like Larry Holmes for this, but he did have a solid chin, so it wasn't often that he wasn't hurt. Heck, most people would have gone down inside of a round if they were taking the kind of punishment he took vs Tyson (plus he wasn't exactly a young man anymore by then).
