Yeah i thought that when i heard him. Very sad, he should stop and get some tests done. I hope its not what i think it is.

 

no thats fine i accept he aint gonna win a world title but get him the **** off my telly on saturday nite watching him bob and weave around a feather fisted afrobum aint my cup of tea

 

To me he lost this fight technically but won it because he is so excellently conditioned. I his opponant as the stamina he would have took this, despite his weak and inaccurate punching. Denton showed an inability to show versitility and showed that he is still not that intelligent a boxer. If he really wants to compete he will definently have to have quite a few more fights to work out his style and how to impliment it.

I wouldn't say he's awful. He has alot of the assets to be a good boxer but at his stage now he should have improved much more. We shouldnt even be talking about him and he shouldnt hold a title or be a main eventer. He still has too much to learn and will eventually be beaten by a decent at best boxer which will ruin him, and that will be all down to the pressures to move up in class when he shouldnt.

 

I thought the scoring of the fight was a joke- no way vassell won that easy even though he may have just snatched it. He would have been ko'd if ashona had even half a dig on him. Back to barclays for denton
