So he's getting the feel for a Canadian opponent first before he faces Bute. :yep

Showtime don't want the fight to be held in Europe.

True. I'd like the fight to take place in the states though.

Bute wouldn't mind. Promoters do. $$$

Source danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet: (google translate)

    "
The Wiking Warrior will only fight once more in Denmark.

Kessler promoter Kalle Sauerland, the Danish star boxer only one fight left on Danish soil before Viking warrior leaves home in favor of larger venues. It writes Ekstra Bladet.

The last Kessler fight on Danish soil becomes comeback match before the summer recess in Herning. A fight, which will probably be at least as great battle for tickets to be allowed to experience the Dane in the ring in Denmark.

    - Once comeback fight is over, there will only be megafights. Showtime will show all of his matches, and because of the large time difference between Denmark and the USA, it is hard to imagine Mikkel boxes on our side of the Atlantic in the future, "said Kalle Sauerland to the newspaper.

    - we are working on a Bute fight in Canada, then Mikkel will fight in US., hopely vs. Ward or Froch might or a giant fight against Kelly Pavlik again in the future, says promoter "

I dont think the June fight neccesarily will be his last in Denmark. Should he lose to Bute, look for Kessler to rebound on danish soil before rematching Carl Froch in Nottingham.

If he lose to Bute - that could very well be the last fight period. This is speculation and Kessler is indeed a good friend of showtime:

They always say they want to retire in time and nearly always they break our hearts by continuing for too long. We can hope that Kessler learned how to retire from Calzaghe but we'll see.

    Ja hurra for Holger! Pyyhhha.
