Gamboa should fight Chris John or Marquez. I wouldnt be surprised if the JML-Gamboa fight happens at 130 so going up in weight shouldnt be counted out.
I am leaning towards Garcia taking this based on his technical skills being better along with possessing good power punch variety and chin. Garcia UD Gamboa
i'm talking about next fight for Gamboa... are sure sure u want to see Mike vs gamboa next? woudnt that have a vargas- tito effect on Diaz?
Lopez is the obvious choice but thats probably a good fight or two away. Chris John is a good choice, not sure if it happens, but its possible I guess. Mikey Garcia isn't quite ready for Gamboa, give him a couple more fights at a slightly higher level and then thats a good fight. DeLeon is with Golden Boy so thats not happening. Moving to 130 doesn't make sense because its a thin division. Litzau gets blown out and the Cabellero fight has lost a lof of momentum but I guess it could still happen. Marquez probably fights Lopez again so I doubt that happens. A couple fights I'd like to see and could probably be made would be Johnny Gonzalez if he beats Hasegawa and J C Burgos would be a very good fight.
He seemed pretty damn ready to me though. Although waiting to the end of the year would not be a bad idea to make it.
So you know more than his handlers, thank God you are not his adviser, they had already stated that he is not ready for the likes of Gamboa and Lopez, and you already have him wining an UD over Gamboa, oh I remember you now, the Cuban hater or was another Saul?
Fighting Remillard or whatever his name is, read this"HIS PPL SAY HE IS NOT READY FOR GAMBOA" why take a kid with so much potential and put him in front of Gamboa or Lopez?
If he fights John he will get his ears boxed off. I assume he fights someone less worthy. Garcia is too damn slow and patient and even though he will make a fight of it, he will get caught before he catches Gamboa.
John has been running from Gamboa for awhile now, don't u know the fight has been offered to him and order it by the WBA?
I dunno man, John looked dangerously tired at the end of his second fight against Juarez, and if Juarez could wear John out like that, I feel Gamboa could, except faster. I feel John would win the first few rounds maybe, but it's just a matter of time that Gamboa's punches from crazy angles at times start landing on John. Hopefully we'll see who's right eventually on this one, as I would really like to see this fight.
True they are offering him the fight, but I don't think he is running. Don't be suprised if that fight happens before Lopez cause there is a gd chance it might. Gamboa would have to try and kill him in 5 rds and not let John get a rhythm going. If he does he will get out boxed. Gamboa is most dangerous early in the fight.
:deal These are in there primes. Gamboa can use these as experience for the ultimate southpaw in Juanma. Gamboa is an exciting fighter great for the sport anyone he fights it really doesn't matter he gives his fans their money's worth.
