    Maybe im reciting old news but im watching the floyd fight over but right as the ref goes down (i think joe cortez) to call the fight..... you see that white towel flying over into the middle of the ring... thought some of you might find it amusing if you didnt see it before

    yeah i noticed that too, when floyd threw the second left hook and had hatton hurt graham thre in the towel just before the ref stopped it.

    On the second KD when Cortez waves off the fight team Hatton threw the towel in then.Made no diffrence anyway.

    Yeah I noticed right off the first time I saw the fight, just like the rest of us Grahm was in shock to see Ricky in the situation that he was in , and felt that he needed to stop the fight to save Ricky any further damage.

    Why would it be amusing?

    Hatton was beaten and hurt but would have continued if he could, Cortez did the right thing in stopping the fight at that point but given his clown like refereeing performance I don't blame Billy Graham for throwing in the towel just to be sure.
